The L-39 Albatross is a subsonic, highly capable, cost-effective jet fighter trainer or light attack aircraft designed and produced by Aero Vodochody in the Czech Republic. This aircraft is similar to the British Hawk and Aermacchi MB339.

With its thick wing, the L-39 supports lift generation and is equipped with hard points that provide the provision to mount various stores or fuel tanks to extend endurance and range. The aircraft is powered by a single turbofan engine, the AI-25TL, producing an impressive 16.87 kN (3,790 lbf) of thrust.
